The Level I Insurance Agent is responsible for:
Processing ICBC drivers licensing transactionsPerforming various administrative duties relating to both driver licensing and ICBC transactionsProviding insurance advisory and sales services to agency clientsWriting new and renewing recreational vehicle policiesProactively referring clients within the Credit UnionQualifications RequiredAbout the CandidateSuccessful completion of CAIB ICompletion of industry related courses to maintain a Level I license1-2 years of insurance services experience, preferably in a Credit Union subsidiary environmentKnowledge of insurance and motor vehicle licensing procedures, regulations, and documentation is preferredA professional and upbeat attitudeExcellent attention to detailAbility to deal effectively with client and employee problems or complaintsAbility to develop positive working relationships with othersDedication to providing and demonstrating exceptional customer servicePreference will be given to candidates who have achieved their CAIB I however, we will consider promising candidates who are new to the insurance industry as a Trainee. If the successful candidate has not completed their CAIB I designation at the time of hiring, they will be expected to write and complete their Level I exam within 3 months of their start date.
