SAE Rosebank is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join their team.

The purpose of this role isa committed lecturer in the area of Games development. The post requires competencyin every aspect of the qualification's academic integrity, student support,academic content development, evaluation, moderation, assessment of learning aswell as supporting SAE Institute's vision and mission. 

We would want the individual to have the following qualities: ? Consistently positive & patient withsupport to students

? Possess outstanding communication,interpersonal skills, administration skills, be highly organized and possessgood time management skills.

Requirements Essential Qualifications & Experience: ? Substantial experience in the field ofgames development and design of a minimum of 2 years preferred.

? Classroom management and workshopfacilitation skills: A minimum of 2 years' recent experience in an academic ortraining environment preferred.

? Must be knowledgeable about gamestudies and theory

? Must have a solid grounding in C#programming, C++ would be a bonus

? Must have solid experience of theUnity gaming engine.

? Body of work that demonstratescompetency in game development and production.

? Experience in 3D and 2D unity workflowsand games asset creation preferred

? Collaborative and willing to work withfellow lecturers and the HOD to support students

? Must have rights to live and work inSouth Africa.

Key Responsibilities : ? Be able to execute and facilitate thenormal day-to-day demands of lecturing, lesson planning, delivery, develop andconduct appropriate practical and theoretical assessments, as well as teachingand learning materials pertinent to modules, administration, student supportand review
