Our client is a large private real estate company that has a presence throughout most of South Africa’s major cities. With an existing portfolio exceeding 1,200,000sqm and consisting of predominantly commercial, and light industrial assets, this dynamic company also oversees the management of their properties internally.

A position has become available for a Leasing Manager to manage an in-land portfolio consisting of 500-600 000 sqm. Your knowledge of and relationships with national, governmental and corporate tenants will ensure you take the lead in securing the key tenants in the portfolio.

This role will involve driving new leases and lease renewals, ensuring they are timorously negotiated and professionally compiled. Good interpersonal skills will be essential as liaising with tenants and brokers will be a pivotal component of this position. Day to day responsibilities will include reporting on vacancies/occupancy, planning and setting leasing strategies, ensuring schedules are communicated to various brokers, negotiation of leases, as well pro-actively marketing vacant space and driving a team of leasing agents.

A 'go getter' attitude will be essential for this position.

In order to apply candidates must have a degree in a property related field combined with at least 7 years experience in a leasing environment, as well as experience with new developments as sourcing of tenants will be a massive component. Senior brokers looking for a stable income will be ideal.
