Role Overview We are expanding our reach and seeking a visionary Lead Data Engineer to spearhead our data engineering efforts, driving innovation and growth. With a passion for data-driven decision-making, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of banking for millions.
Roles and responsibilities Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features Work with outside data sources and APIs Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability Work on bug fixing and improving application performance Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency 5-7 years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of leading teams. Exceptional SQL writing skills, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in multiple databases, particularly MS SQL Server and Google BigQuery. Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Go, Python, Java, and Scala. Strong data modelling skills, with experience managing data structures using the Kimball approach and Data Vault methodologies. Familiarity with data integration tools like SSIS, ADF, dbt Cloud, Dataform and Airbyte. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and optimize data systems.
