Laboratory Manager - Food Production Industry

Hire Resolve is currently seeking a highly experienced and skilled Laboratory Manager to join our client's team in the Food Production Industry. Responsibilities Manage and supervise all laboratory staff, ensuring that all lab operations are carried out efficiently and effectively Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations Oversee the quality control and quality assurance processes, ensuring that all products meet the required standards Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results by implementing and maintaining a robust quality control program Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring that it is properly maintained and calibrated Manage laboratory inventory, including reagents, supplies, and equipment Collaborate with other departments to support new product development and process improvement initiatives Stay updated with new developments and advancements in laboratory techniques and technologies, and implement relevant changes in the laboratory Requirements Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience in a laboratory management role in the food production industry Strong knowledge of laboratory testing methodologies and equipment Experience in developing and implementing laboratory policies and procedures Excellent leadership and management skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and time management skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Benefits Salary: negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable) Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
