Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy Java applications leveraging Kafka for event-driven architectures. Optimize performance and reliability of Kafka clusters and related infrastructure. Implement best practices for monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting Kafka environments in an educational setting. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends related to Kafka and event streaming. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Proficiency in Java programming language and object-oriented design principles. 5 - 7 years' of Hands-on experience working with Kafka in a production environment, including Kafka Streams and/or Kafka Connect. Familiarity with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and message queuing technologies. Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes is a plus. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
