My client, a leading telecommunications company who are committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions and unparalleled services to its customers is on the lookout for a Junior Product Owner or an experienced Business Analyst who is interested in moving into a product owner role and is currently working in or has previously worked within a telecoms company.
**Position Overview:**
As a Telecoms Product Owner, you will be responsible for driving the development and execution of our telecommunications software products and services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define product vision, roadmap, and strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of telecommunications technologies, coupled with strong leadership skills and a passion for driving product innovation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Define and prioritize product features and requirements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business goals.
– Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and priorities.
– Work closely with software development, design, and marketing teams to translate product vision into actionable plans and deliverables.
– Lead agile development processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.
– Serve as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries and issues, providing guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders.
– Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product differentiation and innovation.
– Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), making data-driven decisions to optimize product performance and drive continuous improvement.
– Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
** Experience needed**
– Proven experience as a Product Owner or as a Business Analyst within the telecommunications / Telecoms industry.
– Deep understanding of telecommunications technologies, software and general IT systems.
– Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
– Solid understanding of agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
– Proficiency in product management tools and techniques, including backlog management, user story mapping, and product roadmapping.
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive actionable insights.
– Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a customer-centric mindset.
