Role Purpose:
- Develop, maintain and support mission-critical, enterprise-grade software applications that improve business efficiency and are aligned with the enterprise architecture and business strategy
Java skills:
- 3 -5 years of Software Development experience in a distributed computing environment using Java EE.
- Solid (Java EE) back-end development experience.
- Advanced understanding and everyday use of OO principles such as inheritance, interfaces, abstract classes, etc.
- Good systems and code design skills including good documentation skills where necessary.
- Understanding and experience with micro-services.
- Strong knowledge of REST API designs and Strong knowledge with CI/CD principles

To provide specialized expertise and ensure accurate gathering, compilation, validation, and dissemination of security valuations and prices without market sources for investment accounting service providers
3 - 5 years' experience in a similar environment, of which 1 -2 years at a junior specialist level
Process
Plan for the organisation of work outputs and process improvement activities in light of a specific situational context related to the area of specialisation.Accountable for the improvement of quality, service and work outputs, continuously recommending improvements. Proactively identify area of specialisation related problems, determine cause and effect and recommend the best option to implement corrective action based on previous experience.Provide input and guidance to the valuations committee reporting standards.Provide static data to 3rd party for new security set ups and agree on appropriate valuations methodology.Provide effective support to the oversight teams with respect to relevant valuations.Source and validate prices that are not provided for a market vendor.Create valuations for instrument types and provide to 3rd party to enable inclusions into the daily Investment Book of Records (IBOR).Ensuring that external manager prices are provided to 3rd party to enable inclusion into the daily IBOR.Maintain and monitor data in the valuations dashboard.Customer
Provide specialist expertise and advice to internal/external customers, that builds strong relationships and creates a favourable impression aligned to Treating the Customer Fairly (TCF) principles.Finance
Adhere to financial controls, governance and compliance policies and processes throughout an area of specialisation, contributing to cost efficiency.Learning and Growth
Contribute positively to human capability improvement, related to knowledge optimisation and associated with area of specialisationGovernance
