You will be responsible for the implementation, monitoring, reviewing, and reporting of IT policies, standards, and guidelines for the effective management of IT and Information Governance within the company.Duties & Responsibilities• Driving Governance policy adoption.• Conduct policy and standards self-assessments, gap analysis and implementation plans for the business.• Develop, roll-out and maintain supplementary IT standards for the business.• Co-ordinate IT and Information Governance workshop sessions with business and business partners.• Train and support the business on IT and Information Governance processes.• Put forward recommended strategies to implement IT and Information Governance within the business.• Develop, roll-out, monitor and track IT and Information Governance implementation plans and collaborate ondetailed reporting.• Monitor and track progress on governance implementation and remediation actions in the business.• Ensure adherencance to the Group IT and Information Governance standards.• Assisting with reporting for Group Governance Forums.• Working with the CIO, IT Senior Managers and key IT stakeholders to facilitate IT audit execution together withinternal and external audits.Desired Experience & QualificationQualification and experienceCandidates must be based in Cape TownMust have completed and be in possession of a 3-year National Diploma or Higher in IT/InformationSystems or Business Administration3 – 5 years relevant IT Governance, IT risk or IT Audit experienceExperience in supporting Senior IT Management or the CIO will be advantageousITIL and COBIT foundation certification Knowledge and skillsKnowledge of:• IT Financial management principles• IT Governance Framework to ensure regulatory compliance requirements are embedded within governancestructuresInterested?If you are interested in finding more about the above mentioned opportunity apply or send your cv across to Cathrina Rauscher at ****** Auditing/Accounting HR Services, Recruitment & Selection These jobs were popular with other job seekers#J-18808-Ljbffr
