Job Description Main Purpose of Job: By joining the innovative Growth Office Marketing team, the successful candidate will be driving various initiatives focusing on growing and uplifting the specific industry marketing. The candidate will be supporting the line manager, industry leader and strategist to deliver excellence at our key stakeholders and clients, working collaboratively with the Brand Marketing and Communications team to bring the overall Growth Office Marketing Strategy come to life. Key Performance Areas: Strategic Impact Under minimal guidance, supports the team in the delivery of services to clients in line with the defined strategic objectives of the marketing team as well as the Deloitte firm Supports management in the implementation of change initiatives as directed Develops relationships with peer group in the client business to understand their business Participates in team efforts to find solutions to address issues in area of expertise that may enhance / renew service offerings to client Level of guidance / supervision required Effectiveness of delivery Good understanding of the business Efficacy of solutions and innovation Differentiators for this role Strategy Assists in developing a robust and well considered strategic marketing plan, aligned with business strategy and objectives Ability to apply innovative ideas to complex business environments Displays Marketing subject matter expertise and insight Proactively provides innovative ideas and opportunities Implementation of Strategy & Marketing Plans Implementation and monitoring of the marketing plan. Translates marketing objectives into clear and comprehensive briefs that ensure accurate understanding and direction. Assist in producing and implementing marketing collateral, including but not limited to relevant online and digital content Proactively ensures that relevant website and digital / online content is maintained and up to date. Ensuring that the following competencies are being displayed: Take ownership and conduct tasks with a sense of urgency to ensure all tasks are completed timeously Ensure communication with relevant stakeholders is proactive and regular Pro-actively identify tasks which need to be undertaken in the process Ensure all tasks are conducted with attention to detail Pro-actively manage difficult situations by appropriately escalating the matter to the line manager or managing Ensure all work that is delivered is of the highest quality which represents the Deloitte way. Ensures that all deliverables are delivered on time and proactively advises line manager of any issues regarding delivery to address with client timeously. Impact Ensures all initiatives are measured and impact is tracked: performance and return on investment and activities and marketing channel effectiveness, both quantitatively and qualitatively for all initiatives. Responsible for producing a close out report for each initiative Client & Firm Centricity Understands service offerings and products of the firm and supports the business growth targets. Develops and builds relationships with wider teams and stakeholders (including global MF counterparts) and seeks opportunities for collaboration across marketing and broader Growth Office  teams Brand Centricity Understands the brand attributes of Innovation, Impact and Leadership and seeks opportunities to incorporate brand positioning into marketing initiatives Consistently complies with Deloitte brand and corporate identity guidelines and produces documents and work of appropriate quality and compliance Financial Management Responsible for tracking the agreed budget for all initiatives and ensure any anomalies are raised with the line manager timeously. Actively endeavour to ensure budget it spent cost effectively by considering numerous quotes where appropriate.
