Air/Sea Import
Monitor and coordinate inbound shipments for customers, in line with (CS)SOP, Geodis and industry policies and procedures, in order to ensure customer satisfaction.
Anticipate inbound shipments and proactively track shipments
Communicate with carrier to confirm shipment arrival and release
Coordinate customs clearance and delivery to customer
Execute client contact and align customer needs and services provided.
Arrange gathering and hand-over of freight documents
Analyze carrier contracts and customer contracts and identify options for negotiation
Provide customers with rate requests
Gather information and documentation from customers and set-up files in the operational system
Break down documents form airline or shipper and calculate charges, process in operational system
Close files, pass invoices and credit memos
Ensure proper hand over of documents
