Job Description:The individual will be responsible for the analysis and support of all Operational Technology (OT) technical systems focusing on the network environment. Duties include input into the design and development of a scalable and highly available network. Uses industry standard testing and diagnosis to resolve faults in the networking environment..Will own Network operations, Incident management, Change Management, problem management.Good organisational skills.Manage relationships with vendors/consultants, IM/OT teams and internal stakeholders.Good knowledge of Information Technology & Operational Technology.Client Orientation- Collaborate, develop relationships and network with all stakeholders ensuring optimum service delivery of the discipline and the organization.Asset Management experience.Analysis and interpretation of information.Knowledge of safety policies, procedures and the important role of consistently demonstrating required behaviors and championing safety values.Develops and manages a budget for network related projects, operations and improvements. Qualifications:Education & ExperienceGrade 12 or relevant NQF Level 4 qualification.National Diploma (Computer Science or Information Technology) or any related qualification.ITIL Foundation Certificate.Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) would be advantageous.Certified professional with (any of): CCNP/CCIE [Cisco Systems]10 years IT network experience with at least one year in a Supervisory role.Expertise in configuration and management of Cisco Catalyst 9800 Series, Cisco 6500/4500/3800/3600 Series LAN switches.Code 08 (EB) driver's license.Medical fitness as per inherent requirements of the jobSecurity cleared as per company requirements and verification of qualifications.
