Job Overview:As HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and productive work environment while ensuring that our organization adheres to the best human resources practices in the automotive sector. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with our company's goals and objectives. Your role will encompass various HR functions, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, Payroll processing, training, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:Recruitment and Onboarding: Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and selection.Develop effective onboarding programs to facilitate the seamless integration of new employees into the organization.Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, disputes, and grievances, working to maintain a harmonious work environment.Promote effective communication and conflict resolution strategies.Training and Development: Identify training needs within the organization and design or implement relevant training programs.Encourage continuous learning and development to enhance employee skills and knowledge.HR Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to develop HR strategies that support the company's goals and growth.Ensure HR practices are compliant with South African labor laws and regulations.Performance Management: Implement performance appraisal systems and support managers in evaluating employee performance.Develop strategies for employee recognition and career development.HR Policies and Compliance: Develop and update HR policies and procedures in line with industry standards and legal requirements.Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment equity, and BEE (Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment) requirements.Benefits and Compensation: Manage employee compensation and benefits, ensuring competitive packages and adherence to budget constraints.HR Analytics: Utilize HR data and analytics to make informed decisions and recommendations to improve HR processes and outcomes.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as an HR Manager in the automotive sector or Logistics industry.
Strong knowledge of South African labor laws and regulations.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage HR teams.
Proficiency in HR software and systems.
Proficiency in Payroll software and systems.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
