JOB SUMMARYThe Human Resource Representative will assist the Human Resource Manager with complex and specialized administrative tasks including reviewing job applications from prospective employees, managing and overseeing records, and generating reports. Processing payroll in business timelines.Responsibilities & DutiesThe responsibility of the Head of HR is not exhaustive and may change from time to time as decided by Management.People Responsibility:· Maintains employee records, ensuring completion and accuracy of details such asemployee contact information, job classification, pay rates, organizational structure, and other key details.· Maintains accurate records of active job openings and received applications; manages internal and external job postings.· Reviews applications for entry-level and non-exempt positions; conducts and/orschedules preliminary interviews.· Performs administrative and recordkeeping tasks related to staffing changes, which mayinclude layoffs, resignations, terminations, and extended leaves of absence.· Assists with the administration of employee benefits, which may include collecting andsubmitting employee information and notice of change in status to health, dental, life,disability, and other insurance carriers or insurance brokers.· Plans and supports company-wide information meetings such as open enrolment, newhire orientation, and meetings to announce or discuss changes in retirement or benefitsplans.· Conducts or assists with record audits and mandatory reports, which may include I-9audits, EEO-1 filings, payroll audits, and other compliance reviews.· Performs other duties as assigned.Adhere to admin deadlines in submitting documents and reports:Performance Management documents for all teams in the branchResource Management for the branchWarnings and hearing trackerSuspension and dismissal trackersAttendance reports etc.Key Performance Measures:1. Personnel management (absenteeism, late coming, managing staff issues)Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of labour regulations and HR practicesExceptional organising skillsHighly organised and detail-oriented.Experience in handling employee grievancesExperience in dealing with Unions, CCMA, Labour Court and the Department of labour.Proficient in MS Office (esp.
