We are looking for a candidate with suitable qualifications and experience to join our dynamic and passionate team to oversee all aspects of Human Resource practises and processes.
Main purpose of Job: Responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR Department.
Primary responsibilities: Recruitment Support: Assist in job posting creation and distribution on various platforms.Schedule interviews.Coordinate with hiring managers to facilitate the recruitment process.Conduct reference checks and ID screenings for potential candidates.Onboarding and Offboarding: Coordinate new hire onboarding process, including paperwork, orientation sessions, and training schedules.Process employee terminations and handle offboarding procedures.Ensure all onboarding and offboarding documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.HR Administration: Maintain employee records, including personal information, attendance, and performance evaluations.Prepare HR-related reports as needed and assist in data analysis.Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.Initiates changes to the HRIS associated with various employee events such as job or organization changes and salary actionsPerform periodic data audits to ensure data consistency and accuracyAdminister all HR modules on PaySpace.Assist with all statutory reporting such as Employment equity and skills development.Coordinate committees on wellness, training, health and safety, culture, and communications as needed.Maintain HR templatesPrepare employment contracts, change letters, increase letters, etc.Generate HR reports when requiredAssist with HR issues and general administration dutiesBenefits Administration: Support benefits enrolment process and assist employees with benefit-related inquiries.Coordinate with benefits providers to resolve issues and ensure timely processing of benefits.Assist in organizing and facilitating employee wellness programs and initiatives.Stay updated on labour laws, regulations, and industry best practices.Minimum education experience: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.2- 4 years of Human Resource experience.Additional requirements: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS such as PaySpace.Good knowledge of employment/labour law.Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Personal attributes: Well organised with keen attention to detail and excellent time management skills.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.Advanced knowledge of HRIS and ability to learn new technical systems, when necessaryThe IsoMetrix DNA encompasses the following core values and behaviours:
