Faircape Health, a division of the Faircape Group, owns and manages six luxury lifestyle villages with state of the art and technologically advanced Healthcare Centres at each village. We are looking for an organised and professional Healthcare Administrator to join our team at one of our facilitiesin the Southern Suburbs. The ideal candidate would be a strong administrator, a confident, self-motivated individual who consistently strives for excellence. The successful candidate will be required to manage a high volume of workload, have the ability to manage their own time and work to deadlines. Duties will include but are not limited to: Attend to all general administrative tasksAnswering telephone calls and emails and conveying all messages to the appropriate individualsManage the healthcare diary and ensure all tasks are completedManage the petty cashWelcome and receive any deliveriesEnsure that stock takes are accurate for daily, weekly and monthly countsPerform a daily stock count, reconciliation and replenishment of overnight cupboards and emergency trolleysManage the maintenance book and ensure that all maintenance logged is attended toArrange and book relief staff for any illness, emergencies and annual leaveDeal with agencies when required to arrange for staff shortagesEnsure a standby roster is compiled and prepared 3 months in advanceManage the leave plannerEnsure all leave applications are completed according to the policyManage staff time and attendance on ERSCommunicate with HR regarding any personnel issuesRelief for the receptionist on a daily basisAttend to any resident or family member compliments and complaints and ensure to refer them to the relevant managerManaging the administration process for admission and dischargesManage and oversee the billing processEnsure administrative duties relating to the efficient running of the duty station is completed accurately and timeouslyAttend to Nurse Call Button where these have not been attended to by a member of the Healthcare staff or medical personnelComplete incident reports where necessaryManage and oversee the health and safety of the facility and report any issues to the Health and Safety Officer.Record weekly and monthly medical waste, ensuring that everything is recorded accordinglyQualification: Grade 12 or equivalentRelevant qualification highly advantageousRequirements and Experience: Proven experience in an administrative roleExperience working in a hospital environment advantageousSkills and Attributes: Must be a team playerStrong administrative skillsDeadline orientedAttention to detailStrong interpersonal skillsTrustworthyWell organisedAbility to work in a faced paced environmentAnalytical thinkerGood time management skillsSpecific Requirements Solid and positive referencesClear health recordClear credit recordNo criminal record Normal working hours are Mondays to Fridays from 08h00 until 17h00 with a 45-minute lunch break. The company allows employees, by approval of the direct manager, to work flexi-time between 07h00 and 18h00. Faircape offers a market-related salary from R 20 000 Cost to Company per month. The amount offered will be dependent on qualifications, experience, and other market-related factors.
