Requirements:Grade 12Health & Safety certifications and qualifications3+ years experience in a Health and Safety role, in an industry1 + years experience in stock management, handling, and control/warehouse experienceProficiency in safety auditing, inspection and identifying hazards.Experience in managing safety in diverse work environments.Experience with working with teamsExperience in working with quality management systemsExpertise in using and maintaining safety equipment like fire extinguishers, eye protection and hazardous material protectionKnowledge of relevant HSE legislation (OHSA, NEMA, COIDA), environmental regulations, construction regulations, standards, incident investigations teqniques, risk assessment methodologiesDemonstrated knowledge of and experience with HSE management systems in an industrial settingSummary:Our client primarily needs a candidate to fill a Health and Safety Officer position, thus you will need to have all the certificates required to be considered a Health and Safety Officer and will perform all the duties and responsibilities of such a position. In addition to this title, you will also perform the duties and responsibilities of a Store manager/store controller as there is not enough work for just the H&S Officer role. The store manager's role will include the management of all the store control systems, controlling incoming and outgoing stock etc.Details:6 month contract based- This is a new position, thus the 6 months will be used to review the need for the position, as there is an influx in work and the need for the position is high) Once the 6 months is up, they will either, extend the contract by another 6 months or offer permanence.Salary:Salary: R10,000 - R12,000 in line with earnings, qualifications and experience.Business cellphone and contract.Business Laptop.
