Your responsibilities will include:
Creating, owning and communicating the vision for our product strategy and roadmaps, alongside our Executive team, not only for existing but for future products tooDeveloping an effective Product Management function that is focused on user-centricity, is data-driven, and incorporates iterative product developmentStakeholder management - you are the link between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring buy-in across the business and taking responsibility for the end productGrowing and leading a Product team - direct line management for Product Owners and Product Designers, eliminating blockers for teams to work efficiently and overall responsibilities for tech deliverablesBuilding an understanding of our users through market research and customer engagement in order to adjust development accordingly and solve for problems along our customer journeyWork closely with our Marketing, Data and Engineering teams to understand business performance and key opportunitiesDrive user testing and user-focused activities, to ensure our customers are always at the forefront of what we doBe a champion of the product vision and strategy, implementing world-class product development practises THE COMPETENCIES WE'RE AFTER Confident and experienced decision-makerStrategic, big picture thinker with the ability to execute and get things over the lineStrong collaboration skills and high EQPositive, high energy and committed to the mission and our valuesStrong analytical skills and data insights to make product decisionsDeep knowledge of customer desires and behaviorsWillingness to roll up your sleeves in a start-up, entrepreneurial environmentExcellent stakeholder management skillsStrong leadership skills with the ability to mentor a teamTHE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR Bachelor degree in a relevant field or equivalent5+ years of experience in product management, ideally within a start-up or high-growth company - bonus point for financial services or fintech experienceProven ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations Successful track record as a Product leader with experience mentoring Product OwnersExperience defining product strategy and prioritising roadmaps collaborativelyPrior experience working with Engineering teams in an Agile environmentExperience with prototyping, testing, and validating product hypotheses, and have proven success at identifying MVPs which transition to valuable and appealing productsTechnical acumen and genuine passion for technologyWell-versed in core concepts related to UI/UX designExcellent written and verbal communication skills
