The OpportunityAs the head of Enterpise Sales, your primary responsibility will be to support and lead our Sales team, in achieving sales targets, driving customer retention, and expanding our presence in the market. 
As a key component of the go-to-market (GTM), you will be a key contributor to the revenue growth and profitability of the company through effective enablement and support, strategic planning, pipeline, and opportunity management. 
You will use critical and strategic thinking to support the team in delivering on-target revenue growth in South Africa that supports our growth aspirations. Your proven track record in sales operations, account management, and team leadership will support the sales teams evolution to enterprise sales.
While promoting a culture of high-performance teamwork and innovation, your days will include coordinating the formulation of the sales strategy, executing our ambitious growth and retention targets, leading the sales functional area and team, growing sales operations and forecasts, and collaborating closely with the rest of the GTM. 
With the close support of the Heads of Commercial, Product and Marketing, you'll grow and develop the sales function at Electrum in line with international best practices for financial services technology companies. You'll report back to the leadership team monthly with a detailed progress on key initiatives and metric-driven results. You'll participate in quarterly company strategic planning and will implement the plan both within sales and more broadly throughout the company.
You will manage a diverse sales team of highly skilled and motivated individuals, delivering exceptional client satisfaction. You'll run the sales team weekly stand-up, one-on-ones, quarterly strategic planning sessions, and all-hands knowledge sharing. You will lead sales and revenue learning and development initiatives in your team and across the company. With the assistance of our in-house recruitment team, you will be responsible for sales team recruitment.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields Postgraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, or Marketing (beneficial, but not a requirement) Minimum 5 years of sales management experience managing an enterprise sales team of 4 or more people. Minimum of 5 years of technology-related sales or business development experience Skills: Strategic account planning Coaching and mentoring skills Addressable market assessment and Account segmentation Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong data analysis skills using Google sheets, Excel, SQL or similar Excellent time management and planning skills Strong decision making skills and ability to provide clear direction Strong team management skills Benefits and a bit about our cultureA good work-life balance is very important at Electrum.
