??JD Specialized Recruitmentare currently in search of a highly experienced and qualifiedHEAD CHEFto head up the kitchen department of an exclusive 5* lodge in the Sabi Sands.Qualifications & Experience3-year Diploma or Degree from a reputable culinary institution.Kitchen Hygiene, Fire Safety and First Aid certificate.At least 4 years' experience in a similar position in a luxury 5* bush-based property.Remote working experience preferred.Strong administration, communication, and leadership skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Procedure orientated, time management and ability to plan accordingly.Up to date with international food trends and menu designs.Knowledge of HR policies and procedures and ability to mentor and train team members.Stable employment history with contactable references.*Current Food Portfolio to accompany application displaying creativity and attention to detail.
