Graphic Designer

Full time Graphic Designer position available within the local office of a global IT focused marketing agency. We are looking for a young, dynamic & experienced individual to fill the role. Please note that it is a 6 month contract to go permanent. Overview of role As Graphic designer, you will be expected to act as part of the production team and be responsible for all creative graphic design within the company. The role reports directly to the Production Manager. The graphic designer will be responsible for design work, broadcasting, CI guidelines, developing of creative ideas. Focus will be on html mailers, online banners, web development. We are looking for a graphic designer to create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media (with a strong focus on digital assets) 80% digital & online, including html mailers, 20% print. Web development experience preference. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. If you can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, wed like to meet you. Responsibilities Study design briefs and determine requirements Schedule projects to meet deadlines Conceptualize visuals based on requirements Develop designs and artwork as required Amend designs after feedback Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand Requirements Proven graphic design experience Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop) Ability to deliver HTML assets A keen eye for aesthetics and details Excellent communication skills Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines Agency experience a bonus!
