Qualifications & Experience: Minimum of 3 years of graphic design/desktop publishing experience, with a strong background in agency work. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat), PowerPoint, and other design software. Portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of layout, typography, and social media design, especially on LinkedIn and Facebook. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Responsibilities: Design Creation: Develop creative and visually compelling designs for various media, including print materials, websites, social media, and more. Generate original concepts or adapt existing templates to meet the project's objectives and branding guidelines. Layout and Formatting: Format and arrange text, images, and other elements to create visually pleasing and readable layouts for publications, advertisements, and digital media. Ensure consistency in typography, color schemes, and design elements throughout the materials. Image Editing and Manipulation: Edit and enhance images to improve their quality and alignment with the overall design. Select and source appropriate images or illustrations to complement the content. Typography: Choose and apply suitable fonts and typefaces for different design projects, maintaining readability and visual coherence. Adjust kerning, leading, and tracking for optimal text presentation. Branding and Identity: Maintain and uphold the organization's branding guidelines to ensure consistency in design across all materials. Create and adapt brand elements, such as logos and color schemes, as needed. File Preparation: Prepare files for printing, including setting up bleeds, trim marks, and ensuring proper color management. Create files that meet the specifications of various publishing and printing methods. Software Proficiency: Proficiently use graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools. Collaboration: Collaborate with copywriters, marketing teams, and clients to understand project requirements and objectives. Incorporate feedback and make revisions to designs as necessary.
