Microsoft Artificial Intelligence (AI) Program Internship 2024/2026 Â Cohort 2 - Region Cape TownGijima in collaboration with Microsoft is currently recruiting graduates for the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Program 2024/2025 program. The program is designed to attract young multi-disciplined graduates with no or limited work experience. This provides institutions and organisations the opportunity to groom the Artificial Intelligence (AI) graduate in training to fit into the culture of various industries.Each cohort of 20 students will be hosted on the programme for 6 months. Cape TownThe learning entry level requirement should be applicable for access into these qualifications.Learning assumed to be in place: It is assumed that the learner is competent in skills gained at the further education and training band, with exposure to computing as a requirement. A learning assumption of this qualification is foundational skills in English.Further learning assumed is the ability to use a personal computer.Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, IT, Informatics and EngineeringStatistics 1 and 2 and or Mathematics 1 or 2 in undergraduate studiesActive interest in programming, AI and Data ScienceRecruit and select learners according to Stakeholders approved entry requirements. Cape Town African Males 46.10%, African Females 36.90%, Coloured Males 1.10%, Coloured Females 1.30%, Indian Males 2.20%, Indian Females 1.40%Ages between 18-35South African CitizenClear credit (ITC) and no criminal recordCandidates must currently be unemployed.Candidates must not be participating on another learnership or internship program or be enrolled with any other tertiary institution.Candidates must live in Cape Town – relocation is NOT an option.
