Details of the offer

Qualification- BTech or BSc: Engineering / Civil Geotechnical : Civil / Technical (essential / minimum)- MRD 101 or equivalent Tailings Management Course (essential / minimum)- Candidate Engineer with ECSA (recommended / desirable)Experience- At least two years applicable experience in tailing operational or technical - Knowledge and understanding of the legislation, standards and bylaws applicable to the mining environment, in particular to tailings and water storage facilitiesResponsibilitiesOperational:- Provide mentoring, guidance and support to Tailings operations- Monitor and report on technical risks by means of ongoing technical audits- Facilitate risk assessments on facilities with significant risk- Develop and agree on risk mitigation measures- Provide assurance that data submissions are accurate- Undertake technical assessments of Tailings operations including stability assessments, life assessments water balances, etc.- Prepare technical audit reports
