General Manager Business Development

An international Engineering, Procurement Management firm has a new position available for a General Manager of Business Development. The successful incumbent would be responsible for managing the full Business Development function. They would be required to formulate and implement the overall business development strategy aligned with the organisation's sales strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES Defining the annual sales budget and exceeding defined targets,Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers to give the company a competitive edgeOptimise bookings for the company predominantly in South Africa, and various countries in Southern AfricaDeveloping and optimizing overall bid strategies and Sales & Marketing StrategiesMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Minimum B Degree, MBA would be an advantage10 – 15 Years' Business Development experience in the energy industries, particularly Energy EfficiencyStrong financial acumen with some training on P&L's and project profitability assessments Our client a leader in the agricultural sector, with over four decades of pioneering in the pest control solutions space, is looking to employ a Regional Sales Manager for the KZN region.
