Fund Accountant

A fund management company based in Stellenbosch, with two funds under their stewardship, is looking for a Fund Accountant to join their team to help drive financial success and ensure compliance within the industry. As a Fund Accountant, you will be mastering the art of financial documentation and intricate calculations. From crafting statements and conducting analyses to strategic reporting, the team navigates the financial landscape with expertise, unlocking opportunities and maximising returns for their clients. Responsibilities: Creating the financial statements for the funds. Drafting partner statements. Calculating carried interest. Reporting on a quarterly basis. Creating budgets for funds. Processes for withdrawing and distributing funds. Calculations of internal rate of return (IRR) Procedures for withdrawing and dispersing funds. Assessing calculations related to taxes.. Requirements: Fully qualified CA (SA) 3 - 6 years of total experience Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all levels. Proficient in spoken and written English, with a keen eye for detail. Experience in writing flows using Microsoft Flows will be an advantage. Salary and Benefits: R45 000 - R60 000 / month, based on relevant experience and qualifications.
