Job Description

Exciting Opportunity with a well-established client in the Western Cape for an experienced and qualified Fund Accountant.
Responsibilities:
•responsible for maintaining the nominee company, but would also have the opportunity to work on share amortizations as well as perhaps oversee one or two investment companies as well.
•assist with creating accounting records (from start to finish) and a catch-up of 3yrs worth of accounting and audits which need to be completed urgently and is highly confidential
•required to take care of some back office oversight on holding companies, which are not too active or complex. So, experience in basic back office operations for holding companies is required
Education:
•CA(SA) with 3 Years Post Articles Experience in a similar role/ environment.
•experience in accounting and tax matters in fund accounting specifically with a solid academic record
