Financial Manager

Job Description:You, the successful candidate, will be responsible, yet not limited to the following duties: Lead and oversee the finance department, fostering growth and personal development opportunitiesDevelop and enforce robust financial controls to mitigate risks and uphold the accuracy of financial dataMeet monthly reporting deadlines to shareholders, providing commentary on significant trendsConduct month-end reconciliations for balance sheets and income statementsMaintain fixed asset registers and shareholder loan schedulesManage VAT reconciliations and submissions within deadlinesApprove payment requisitions and process general journals with audit documentationPrepare annual audit files and address audit queriesDevelop annual financial budgets and maintain statutory compliance documents for each business Skills & Experience: Advanced skills in MS Office (excel, word, outlook).SAGE Evolution experience not essential but would be beneficial.Demonstrates a strong understanding of the South African Companies Act, Corporate Governance, or other relevant legislationShows exceptional ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.Qualification:SAIPA or SAICA articles with 1-3 years post article experience Contact CHANEL STEENKAMP
