Financial Manager

Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to:
Managefull Finance function
Must have an Operational Flair and be Commercially-minded, as this will not just be a pure Accounting role.

Ensure that there are soundFinancial Controlsin place

Financial Reporting

Manage the Working Capital and Cash

Leading and building the Finance team

Ensuring that the company complies with the statutory legislation

Annual Financial Statements

Leading the Risk Management of the business

Departmental P&L’s

Ensuring that the GP targets are achieved through Governance of Debtors, Pricing and Discounts

Business Planning

Annual Budgets

Quarterly Financial Forecasts

Ensuring that payments are managed within the forecasted Cash Flow

Managing foreign currency

Qualifications, Competencies and Experience required:

CA(SA) – non negotiable

Minimum5 years’ post article experience in a Commercial industry (6 – 7 year’s post article experience ideal)

Must be able to do thefull Finance function

Must haveOperational experience(Commercially minded) - NB

Must have Management experience

Experience in Great Plains, Cognos and Syspro – advantageous

Strong Excel skills

Must be a Team Player and also have the ability to lead a team

Takes initiative

Detail orientated and a strong personality is required
