Reporting to the Head of Finance, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of the business, including the business support, financial administration. You will be responsible for financial and budget control, asset management, parking administration, managing helpdesk activities, financial reporting (Xero reporting), managing IT related interventions and people management. The ideal candidate will be a qualified CA(SA), AGA(SA), PA(SA) or CGMA, preferably with some commercial experience post articles. Candidates with completed SAICA or SAIPA articles or relevant and related experience will also be considered. Role Description: To contribute to the development and implementation of the departmental accounting systems, policies and procedures. Supports the department through the collection, processing, recording, reconciliation and reporting of financial data, verifying the validity, completeness and accuracy of source documentation. Maintain complete and proper records of revenue, expenditure, assets and liabilities, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
