HALF DAY - My client, a well-established Accounting Firm in Somerset West is looking to employ a Financial Administrator with at least 1- 2 years experience in an Accounting Firm to join their team. The successful candidate will have the option to work remotely but be required to work at the office for one or 2 days per week.
The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:

Tertiary qualification in Finance / Accounting will be an advantageComputer literate (Xero and MS Excel)Ability to work under pressureIndependent thinkerHonest and high integrityOwn vehicle and valid drivers licenseFully Bilingual (Afrikaans and English)The ideal candidate must be administratively oriented, have excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, and can deliver client service of outstanding quality. The ability to work independently and proactively is a prerequisite.

Duties include, but not limited to:Financial administrationClient invoicingClient collectionPayables / expenses payments / load and track on XeroBasic day to day maintenance of bank feeds on Xero for creditors and debtors managementBudget management from an administrative point of view,Work in process client services lists Excel - monitoring and management, with full overview by directors themselvesGeneral administration related to financialsPersonal admin assistance for directorsSimplepay and other personnel records administration (leave, etc.)Assist the current accountant with administrative components of tax administrationCIPC client services (training will be provided if necessary)Annual returns monthlyBO updates annually
