Financial Accountant

An energetic investment portfolio holding group based in Stellenbosch is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team. This position is situated within a division that specializes in International Agricultural operations. The company is open to considering candidates who fit the spec and are willing to relocate. Key Responsibilities: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including AFS. Oversee and authorize daily accounting transactions, and execute journal entries, among other tasks. Compile and analyze monthly management accounts, including forecasts. Ensure tax compliance and reporting in foreign regions. Organizing annual board meeting packs and recording minutes Maintaining a resolution register Preparing loan statements/schedules Analysing accounts to explain discrepancies Providing weekly and monthly operational reporting Requirements: Qualified Professional Accountant (SA), or AGA (SA) with accounting experience. 3-5 years of total experience. Ability to work under deadlines, with attention to detail and analytical skills. Experience with Xero software is highly beneficial. Previous experience in the property industry is highly desirable. Salary and Benefits: R25 000 - R32 000 / month (CTC)
