Financial Accountant

Skills and Experience Required: Strong financial leadership and excellent communication skills; Strong leadership abilities; Accurate, analytical, and organised with high attention to detail; Independent, adaptable, and deadline-driven; Ability to prioritise and work under pressure; Strong computer literacy, especially with advanced Excel skills; Resilient, firm but fair, and a team player; Good attendance record, willingness to work overtime, based in Paarl or surrounding areas; Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics; Completed SAIPA articles (advantageous); Understanding of stock management, costing, and reconciliation; Familiarity with accounting systems like SAGE and internal controls; Minimum 3 years of work experience in accounting or finance; Team management experience is beneficial; Valid driver's license and own transport; Proficient in English and Afrikaans. Duties and Responsibilities: Finalising monthly processing and month-end procedures; Conducting monthly general ledger reconciliations and resolving discrepancies; Producing monthly management accounts and reporting to directors; Comparing budget versus actuals and identifying cost-saving opportunities; Managing company expenses and implementing accurate cost allocation structures; Designing and implementing standard operating procedures; Asset management and payroll processing using Sage; Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements; Assisting external auditors with reviews and audits; Handling SARS queries, reviews, and audits. Salary : R22 500CTC per month. Working Hours: 08h00 to 16h30, Monday to Friday
