Financial Accountant

Minimum requirements: Daily processing of journalsResponsible for general ledgerInvoicing divisionsMaintaining fixed asset register and physical counts reconciliationsPreparing divisional financial statements and analytical reviews.Daily cash management and forecastingManaging interdivisional loan accountsPreparing monthly lease schedules for payment, settlements and additionsDaily review of debtors and creditors functions including reconciliationsExperience in the following:Able to institute financial controlsSupervision (SGIT in house operational and financial system) up to TB level and preparation of financial statements.GL experience, 5=6 yearsAccounting and IT knowledge essentialBudget and forecast preparationAbility to deal with Internal External audit requirements.Required experience, qualifications and skills:B.Com (Accountancy) Degree. CA (SA)Minimum 3 years related accounting experienceComputer literate sound knowledge of excel and vlookups etc.Knowledge and experience in the vehicle rental industry will be an added advantage.Ability supervise staffKnowledge of Income Tax and Vat and other relevant statutory legislations.Experience in the vehicle rental business would be an added advantageDante Personnel - JHB Branch
