Financial Accountant

Your role purpose will be to support the Financial Manager towards the optimal use of financial management best practices including providing financial and administrative services to ensure efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations in the finance department.Other duties include but are not limited too:Capture additions (New assets) and disposal in the Fixed Assets registerCalculate and process monthly depreciationAgree Fixed Assets register with Trial Balance and Syrinx Asset ListingCompile list of disposals & additionsAdministration of Insurance claimsCollate and prepare necessary documentation for claimsCommunicate progress of claims to all stakeholdersReconcile Stock Valuations MonthlyReconcile Debtors MonthlyReconcile Revenue MonthlyReconcile Vat Monthly Education:Degree in Finance/Accounting Job Experience & Skills Required:Minimum of 5 years' consistent Accounting experienceAdvanced Excel non-negotiableFinancial acumenExcellent communication skillsTeam playerOrganizational and time management skillsAbility to work under pressureDeadline driven APPLY NOW!
