The role in a nutshell: Be integral in leading the transformation of our finance team.
Your mission will be: Gain a deep understanding of finance operations, pinpointing where processes can be improved and coming up with effective solutions. Work with teams from different departments to create comprehensive plans and projects. Take the lead in guiding discussions on how to improve finance operations and systems. Take charge of the program's roadmap, making sure it's implemented smoothly and is a scalable solution. Encourage and persuade teams to embrace new processes, supporting them to succeed. Keep communication flowing smoothly between projects, always on the lookout for risks and opportunities to make things better. Lead the team in creating business requirements and mapping out future processes and controls. Use data-driven methods to measure and manage implementations, focusing on what brings value to the business. Develop smart strategies for solving problems and guiding teams through changes in new areas. A little about you: Proven track record with process redesign & implementation A bright, logical mindset, with the ability to quickly grasp concepts and think creatively about solutions. Ability to assess and prioritise incoming information in order to draw inferences from that information that will inform a line of enquiry. The attention to detail of a hawk. Intermediate to advanced user level for Make integrations preferred Intermediate to advanced user level for Databricks preferred Proficiency in SQL and Javascript Understanding of processes, systems and flow of data. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with a variety of people across the business at all levels. Excellent written and verbal skills Excel in Excel. Knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and financial analysis acquired through related work experience.
