Reporting to the Director of Finance, our client a non-profit organisation requires a qualified Financial Manager to support and advise the organisation by providing expert financial management and corporate governance guidance in support of the organisation's global operations. (USA, UK and SA). Knowledge of institutional donor requirements and experience in a multi-national not-for-profit organization at the head office level would be preferred. Our client is prepared to pay for relocation costs to Cape Town from another province Minimum Qualifications and Experience • Bachelor’s Degree in Business and/or accounting • CA(SA) or CIMA preferred or a post-graduate degree/diploma an advantage • 10 years’ experience in a financial role of which at least 5 years in a managerial role • Superior knowledge and experience of computerized financial & business information systems • Ability to manage/administer a finance unit • Ability to rationalize work and delegate tasks • Ability to apply advanced systems to simplify work and negotiate systems improvements • Propose solutions to make the best use of staff and financial resources Job Duties Key Performance Areas • Prepare and analyse monthly/quarterly/annual management reports accurately and on time for all entities (including preparing variance analysis for budgeting and forecasting purposes) • Preparing and analysing the monthly Forecasting reports • Prepare financial statements and supporting financial information for all entities/affiliates including income statement, balance sheet, and variance to budget • Compilation of annual and periodic budget information • Coordinate and manage the consolidation of all the unit budgets per entity • Assist in meeting Tax Compliance including, Annual Corporate Tax Filings for all entities/affiliates • Prepare reports for the various Boards related to corporate governance and compliance • Provide ad-hoc financial management support to the USA and UK entities including financial reviews and analysis • Research and advise on optimal cost structures to ensure maximum cost recovery and competitive pricing of interventions and products • Provide technical assistance where required for special projects and initiatives
