Job Description
Responsibilities:
Proactively engage and support the Power Controls Business Controller in the end-to-end Annual Operating Plan, quarterly forecast, and month-end close processes,
Proactive business partner to the Power Controls business unit and its sub business- providing financial guidance and support in compliance matters,
Support globalization and standardized Solutions (ETO),
Accounting and Reporting for monthly close processes across EMEA PCB
Co-operate with shared service (Accounting) team to ensure proper reporting and timely resolution of month-end activities,
Prepare monthly revenue & cost recognition and financial statement reviews in line with US GAAP/SOX compliancy,
Execute monthly close process and submit journal entries for revenue/cost adjustments related to ETO projects,
Owning Solutions-based account reconciliations, including Customer Advances, Unbilled, RAR 606, etc.,
Participate in project reviews with controller & business managers/project managers to assess margins, progress on contracts and cash flow,
Collaboration with manufacturing sites (Canada, Poland, US, Mexico) for manufacturing and cost reporting to support margin review and analysis,
Align with PCB global systems lead to drive standard Accounting and Reporting processes for ETO projects. This includes preparation of As-Sold vs. Quoted margin reporting, Project Summary Report (PSR), monthly causal template, etc.
Support the global transformation toward automated and simplified processes.
Support FP&A GSM EMEA team
Provides insightful analysis to EMEA finance management on a wide variety of financial topics
Maintains collaborative relationship between Finance and Sales Operations to ensure consistency across regions, reporting and activities amongst the teams.
Support the Sales organization to influences orders & sales performance, using thorough analysis of key elements in the area of (but not limiting to): front-log, backlog, industry and customer channels to drive business performance.
Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by PCB controller,

Requirements
Recognized accounting/finance qualification, finance based degree
3-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably Accounting, Controls and Analytics
Knowledge of Excel, Power BI, Hyperion, HFM, IFS, SAP/EPM systems is a plus.
Ability to demonstrate business and financial acumen including a good understanding of revenue recognition.
Strong proactive communicator across multiple functions and cultures – not afraid to challenge where appropriate.
Business partnering experience.
Cross-functional relationship building skills.
Collaborates effectively & be a team player.
Able to adapt communication style with internal customers at all levels of organization.
