You will be responsible for managing field teams, comprising field team technicians, in a specific area.

This role will encompass (including but not limited to) the following tasks:
Plan tickets for teams every day (project management)Manage numerous teams and track daily ticketsManage customer and employee grievancesSometimes go into the field - liaising with comm pole landlords and usersQuality assurance of field teams' workPerformance management of field team techniciansOversee that teams have completed summariesClose ticketsVehicle management (rentals, inspections etc.)Training of field team technicians - when requiredEnsure M-files/any relevant system in use is up to date and clean out any backlogsMaintain Excel sheets and ensure they are up to date / reflect realityBoost the team morale (team building)Assist Head of People/Talent Acquisition Manager with recruitment - Field Team TechniciansCollaborate with the Head of Customer Engagement to streamline processes, teamwork, and synergy between management and teamsManaging the booking in and out of toolsCollaborate with the Head of Customer Engagement to develop training material for field teams (interfacing with clients)Collaborate with the People department on any misconduct or poor work performance-related incidentsExecute general operational duties applicable to your areaQualificationsMatric, Diploma and or further studiesExperience having worked in installations and maintenanceExperience leading and inspiring a team of passionate individualsExperience in operations and project managementComputer literate with the ability to work on excel and other internal softwareExperience
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the telecommunications industryEntrepreneurial flair and good knowledge of operations managementSound technical industry knowledge (specific to Wi-Fi or Fibre)Effective decision-maker and creative problem-solvingNOTE: We ONLY accept online applications.
