Facilities Manager - Transport & Logistics

We are currently seeking a Facilities Manager to join our client in the Logistics & Transport Industry's team. As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance and management of our client's facilities, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and provide a safe and comfortable environment for employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the facilities
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
Manage and coordinate work orders and maintenance requests
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Manage and negotiate vendor contracts
Monitor and control facility budgets
Supervise a team of maintenance staff
Coordinate facility projects and renovations
Provide regular reports on facility performance and activities

Requirements

Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or similar role
Strong knowledge of facility management principles and best practices
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Ability to manage a diverse team and multiple projects simultaneously
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Bachelor's degree in Facility Management or related field is preferred
Professional certification in Facility Management is a plus

Benefits

Salary: R500k CTC - R450k CTC (negotiable)
