Overview A great mining company in Pretoria, Gauteng is seeking the expertise of an Environmental Manager to join their team of professionals. Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of integrated mine closure plans that prioritize environmental sustainability and community well-beingCollaborate with mining operations to ensure compliance with closure obligations and post-closure monitoringCollaborate closely with the Life of Mine Planning teams to ensure that mine closure considerations are seamlessly integrated into long-term planningOversee water resource management, including efficient usage and responsible discharge practicesImplement water conservation measures and engage with local communities on sustainable water practicesDevelop and oversee environmental monitoring programs to track key performance indicators  Requirements  Grade 12Bachelors / Masters Degree in Environmental Science / Environmental Management10 – 12 years' experience in an underground mining environment Benefits  Salary: R1.6M/yr – R1.8M/yr, negotiable Training & Development Family Leave
