Requirements:
Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree or National Diploma
6 Years relevant experience in the mining industry
2 Years managerial experience
Opencast as well as Underground (Trackless/Bord and Pillar)
Government Certificate of Competency GCC (Mines and Works)
Professional registration with ECSA

KPAs:
Maintenance Support
Solve problems and implement solutions
Perform planned job observations
Document and review the plant maintenance strategy on an annual basis to ensure that it is aligned with the business plan
Ensure strict adherence to the relevant engineering standards and specifications
Follow up warranty claims on component failures on high criticality equipment
Prepare Maintenance budget per equipment
Consolidate Maintenance budget per plant
