Electrical Designer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for electrical systems based on project specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and proficiency in CAD software. Responsibilities: Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and sketches to produce accurate electrical drawings. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure designs meet project requirements and comply with applicable codes and standards. Prepare layouts, diagrams, and schematics using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Make necessary revisions to drawings as directed by project leads or clients. Review completed drawings for accuracy and compliance with company standards. Assist in the preparation of material lists and cost estimates. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in electrical design technology. Requirements: Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or related field. Proven experience as an Electrical Draughtsman or similar role. Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or similar programs. Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and wiring diagrams. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Good communication skills. Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC) is preferred but not required.
