Ec&I Draughtsman / Modeller

Job title: EC&I Draughtsman / Modeller Location: Centurion, South Africa Experience: 10+ years experience in draughting in the Electrical and Instrumentation field. Job Description: General: Prepare drawing deliverables, including transmittal notes. Interpret technical equipment information and implement it accordingly on design drawings. Maintain and improve drawing standards. Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Deliverables. Maintain document registers. Compile P&IDs, single-line diagrams and wiring diagrams. Do general equipment arrangements. Compile electrical layout drawings (small power, lighting, cableways, etc.) and schematic diagrams. Specify equipment locations, equipment racking & routing diagrams. Draught loop drawings and instrument hookup drawings. Site Work: Perform site measurements and inspections. Verify drawings to site installation. Skills Required: Software utilisation: Autocad, IronCad, DesSoft Revit. Inventor. MS Office products. Other skills: Analytical ability and expertise in understanding complex issues. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
