Key Performance Areas: The Sales Representative will report to the Branch Manager of Durban and will be accountable for the following:
External and internal salesServicing existing client baseDeveloping new client baseStock control of shopWorking in store and on site at equestrian facilities, some weekend shows includedWorking in store on Saturdays, and some Sundays (in the case of shows) and Public HolidaysAccurate and up to date performance of all administrative duties that arise from the generation of salesRequirements / Attributes: Equestrian background essentialOpen to learning new skills and product informationSales experience will be an advantageCustomer service orientatedValid matric certificateFluent in English (written and spoken), additional languages are highly advantageousAble to work unsupervisedSystematic and adaptableAble to recognise, analyse and solve problemsPassionate and knowledgeable about the equine industryBe willing to learn about and service all disciplines in the equine industryBe able to work under pressure and as part of a teamBe able to work overtime if necessaryMaintain and uphold the ethics of Western ShoppeBe able to maintain client and company confidentialityFully vaccinated against COVID-19 (proof of vaccination required)South African CitizenClear credit and criminal recordsCandidates who believe they meet the requirements are invited to submit their CVs and any supporting documents to Carrie at the Durban branch by hand or via e-mail to: ****** .
