Job Purpose
To ensure an accurate & efficient planning and scheduling of production, management of FG stock and working proactively with procurement, production and warehouse teams.
Key Responsiblities
Champion Product availability.
Ordering of Imports dry and wet.
Assist in forecasting
Monitor stock levels following the model in place (MTO)
To generate specific reports (KPIs, short dated, @ risk, progress on promotional products)
Purchase to the correct levels while respecting finance laws
Negotiate best suppliers, price, and quality of goods.
Ensure all deliveries are completed and booked on the system.
Monitor and track internal & external stocks.
Follow up with internal purchasing needs
Regular contacts with logistics and quality departments
Regular contacts with external suppliers
Follow up with the purchasing order status

Education and Experience
NQF level 4 /Matric and or Relevant Teritiary Qualification
Previous experiences in logistic (FIFO, security stock level, point of supply, freight, supply chain, international transport, administration, laws…)
Good logical understanding of complex systems
Good communication & negotiation skills, Cost conscious, Initiative, Etiquette skills, Self motivated, Team player, Safety & Hygiene & Quality conscious, Basic accounting skills
