UMass Memorial Medical Group and UMass Chan Medical School seeks an additional Emergency Medicine to join the team.
Ideal candidates will be board certified/ board eligible in Emergency Medicine. We welcome physicians from all academic ranks to apply and boast a robust research program and culture of mentorship for faculty development and career advancement.
About the Department: We are a Level 1 Trauma Center in a state of the art, 70,000 square foot facility covering a service area of over 1 million individuals.We provide emergency medical care at many areas and towns across UMass Memorial Healthcare, to include Clinton, Marlborough and 2 campuses in Worcester, as well as prehospital care through Worcester EMS and the UMass Memorial LifeFlight program.We train the next generation of Emergency Medicine physicians in our fully accredited Residency and Fellowship Programs to enter the field in either the academic or community setting.We aim to improve learning and work environments through appreciating the rich diversity within our communities and to create inventive and inclusive solutions to our ED environment with a consistent aim to continuously improve our culture.We have 8 Divisions devoted to excellence that trailblaze improvements in their respective fields, Leadership, Clinical Decision Unit, Disaster Medicine and Emergency Management, EMS and LifeFlight, Health Equity, Toxicology, Research and Ultrasound.What is our Mission: "Our mission is to be the preeminent Department of Emergency Medicine in the country by delivering excellent healthcare, with respect and dignity to all patients needing emergent or urgent care services; conducting groundbreaking research that enhances public health; and developing innovative educational programs for all levels of health care providers."
