Billing & Disbursement Consultant ROLE To create, update and maintain all Client specific billing requirements in Client billing handbook To ensure all data in system is correct for accurate reporting by working in collaboration with service delivery teams To ensure any issues are promptly escalated where appropriate and that corrective action is taken To manage billing mailbox to the highest standard and respond to queries and requests within 24 hours (if we decide to create this mailbox) To issue client invoices accurately in accordance with client requirements and within agreed timeframes To ensure all costs are invoiced to clients To keep the credit notes levels to a minimum by ensuring billing accuracy To accurately consolidate invoices where required (client specific) - to include disbursement invoices where required To submit all invoices to clients within agreed timeframes and in accordance with specific requirements To review unbilled reports and ensure all billing is issued where possible To track and report on unbilled fees and costs To follow the billing process and regularly suggest improvements To support credit control where required To handle intercompany billing To remain compliant at all times To support the team during peak periods SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 3-5 years experience of Finance Services or Expense Management ServiceExcellent verbal & numerical reasoning with excellent attention to detailCan do attitude – Proactive, positive and personableResilient under stressOrganised and able to prioritise and work to tight deadlinesPassionate about providing excellent customer service and able to build strong relationships, internally and externally, with people of all levelsInnovative, able to challenge existing processes and to adapt to changeHonest and ethical approach to businessHas gained personal insights through work or interests in the challenges of being in a foreign culture (e.g. through personal travel, living/working abroad/studying abroad or away from home)Minimum of C pass or equivalent in English Language and Mathematics at 'O' level/GCSEAdvanced accounting skills requiredVery good working knowledge of Office Word, Excel and OutlookTechnical competence in a European Language would be usefulAbility to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Excel intermediate skills ADVANTAGES Billing experience Relocation services experience Experience of relocation systems Language skills All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity,
