Job Description The Digital Marketing Manager is accountable for the implementation and execution of the digital strategy based on the programs and projects outlined in the business objectives and Brand plan.

Degree or equivalent NQF level 6 qualification in marketing (specializing in Digital Marketing)
Driver's License
5 - 8 years' experience in an advertising environment with digital marketing, or digital media specialist experience
1-2 years' experience in a mid-senior marketing or advertising role.
Experience in direct marketing (below the line)
Knowledge Knowledge of budget management and finance (Intermediate)Knowledge of CRM (Intermediate)Oral and written communication skills (Advanced)Knowledge of Digital Media platforms/publishers; DV 360, Google Ads, META Business Manager, Twitter (X) Ads, AdRoll, AdColony etc.(Advanced)Knowledge of Digital Media Planning, Operations & Measurement (Advanced)Knowledge of Media Analytics & Insights tools/platforms (Advanced)Ability to design and execute digital media campaigns. (Advanced)Knowledge of POPI (Intermediate)Ability to develop and monitor ROI & KPIs(Advanced)Ability to collaborate and coordinate with internal & external teams.(Advanced)Project Management (Intermediate) Duties and Responsibilities Digital Strategy development and execution Design digital media campaigns aligned with business goals.Co-create and implement Nando's Digital Media quarterly project plans as aligned to the Digital Marketing Strategy, incorporating consumer media trends and media consumption habits in SADevelop and manage substantiated, innovative and consumer driven digital initiatives to deliver against key business targetsPartner with Nando's comms & agency partners to execute the social media strategy and associated activities on various platformsWork with agencies to devise online sales approaches through owned channelsManage the strategy and execution of paid media marketing efforts through a variety of digital marketing channelsSuggest and implement direct marketing methodsRegularly track and get insights into competitors' strategiesAnalyze the performance of each campaign and make optimization suggestions, i.e. budget adjustments, targeting strategies to maximize return on investment.Intermediate knowledge of Search Engine Optimization principles.Generate and manage tags and assist with keyword analysisStay up to date with industry regulations and best practices for data privacy and protection in digital marketing.Digital Communication Management Enhance the Nando's Brand in all digital initiatives and guard the integrity of the organisation within the digital media space.Support local, regional, and international marketing teams in the identification, planning and execution of new & always on digital media initiatives.Support and manage cross-functional teams and develop media campaigns to ensure that digital objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frames and funding parametersWork with the Insights Team to assess the ROI and success of Digital marketing campaignsMonitor the content of all online platforms to ensure that it is accurate, updated and correctly brandedWork with digital agencies to deliver projects and solutions whilst monitoring and reporting on user engagementDrive the monthly analysis of all digital channels and consumer learnings from online reporting toolsAnalyse data from third-party sites hosting Nando's digital content to identify trends and business opportunitiesAnalyse the results of existing digital marketing campaigns and provide recommendations for future campaignsOversee the timeous loading of new web content, including web stories and press releasesManage relationships with all external service providers, including the digital media agency and creative third-party suppliersUpdate the Nando's menu on all online channelsExecute all digital activities in line with the Nando's Annual Promotional CalendarPrepare and deliver presentations to senior levels relating to digital marketingBusiness Enablement through Digital Marketing Drive the delivery of digital platforms to achieve business objectives, including CRM, online ordering, and e-Programs to impact the customer experienceProvide guidance on the use of data and social media platforms in line with SA legislationReview new technologies to ensure that Nando's remains current regarding developments in digital marketingReview the conversion rates reports and suggest improvements to the Nando's website, managing any future re-designs of the websiteWork with design, marketing, and technical specialists to oversee long term improvement programs including major redesigns, incremental changes, and page-specific testingMaintain a marketing automation infrastructure and implement best practices, including guidelines for emails, landing pages and campaignsConduct digital pilots for testing and reporting purposes to develop best practices that can be replicated across the organisationAdhere to audit, regulatory and compliance requirementsBudget and Financial Management Provide input into the development and implementation of the annual digital media budgets.Ensure all resources are properly leveraged for maximum business results.Develop campaign/ project specific budgetsMonitor adherence to campaign/project budgets and propose cost-saving measures where appropriateAccurate forecasting of returns and assessment of past campaigns.
