What you'll doReview all artwork before it is presented to the Design Lead and Creative Director for final approvalWork closely with the Design Lead, Creative Director and the creative team to conceptualise creative campaigns, content and day-to-day client artworkOversee the implementation of feedback and changes to work, ensuring it meets the requirements of debriefs from the Creative Director and the account management teamManage deadlines and workflowsFoster a culture of clear communication and creative visionContinue to grow and expand on your own design skills and knowledge, in order to keep up with design and digital evolution to keep ahead of the curve within the industryYou will possess a keen awareness of when and how to push back when it is necessary for the well-being of the team and the quality and effectiveness of the workYou will mentor, manage and build up the design team to the best of their ability, working closely with the Design Lead and Creative DirectorYou will create an environment that gives the team the ability to voice their ideas and opinions freely without fear of judgementYou will grow, encourage and constructively channel creativity in whatever form it's presentedYou know that the client isn't always right, but you also know how to pick your battlesWhat you'll needMultimedia / Digital / Visual Design Degree or similar qualification4 - 5 years industry experience as a multimedia / digital designer (required)An in-depth knowledge of design principles, motion graphics terminology and formatsSignificant experience producing digital contentThe ability to animate (2D / motion design) and edit videoExperience with the following software:Adobe PhotoshopAdobe After EffectsAdobe IllustratorAdobe InDesignAdobe PremiereAPPLY HERE: https://crayon.jobs/jobs/south-africa/johannesburg/digital-designer/1210
